How Bridging Works

  1. 1First, deploy your token on the destination chain (same features on all chains)
  2. 2Approve your tokens for the bridge contract
  3. 3Your tokens are burned on the source chain
  4. 4Relayer detects the burn and mints tokens on the destination chain

Note: Total supply is split across all chains. Bridging burns on one chain and mints on another, keeping the total constant. Transaction fees and burns work per-chain where trades happen.
